Cotoneaster question

I have a cotoneaster that looks healthy but there are no flowers or berries on it. Are there any cotoneasters that do not have any. Or am I wrong in saying this is a cotoneaster. It sure looks like one.

with regards to cotoneasters, there are male and female and only the females bear flowers and fruits. You probably have the male kind
