Hello. I don't spend much time on this forum, but a friend of mine does, and they passed your post on to me because they thought I might be interested in it.

I'm the "webmaster" at McFayden Seeds(www.mcfayden.com). I reviewed your notes on navigating the site and on using the search function.

Firstly, my apologies for the "broken" links on the "Site Map" page. This was an oversight when things were being setup for the Fall 2006 catalogue. Today, I spent some time and fixed that problem. The "site map" page looks a little different now: I replaced the product category images with simple text lines and they should work. If the "site map" page doesn't look different, then try refreshing(F5) the page in your browser.

Secondly, your searches for "tomato seed" and "vegetable seed" didn't return any results because we don't carry those seeds in the Fall 2006 catalogue(although we do carry herb seeds). Also, when you use the search function, key in words that you would expect to find in the item's name.
As an example, to search for tomato seeds I'd suggest just typing in "tomato".

I hope these things help! My apologies, again, for your annoying experience.

Thanks for replying. So, how DO I find out what you carry for tomato and veggie seeds? You had a couple tomatoes I was interested in last year.

Actually, our Customer Service area has taken an interest in your request to see vegetable seeds at this time of the year. I'm happy to inform you that a number of seeds have just been added to the site and are now available for viewing and ordering. This includes tomatoes, peppers, etc. They're all located under the "Seed" section.
