coppertina ninebark or quickfire hydrangea

Hello all, I am a relatively new gardener and am looking at planting several(4-5) shrubs along a west wood fence that backs on to a storm culvert, to provide background for some Blue Satin Rose of Sharon that are planted 5' in front of the fence line.

I am considering 2 new plants that have some reddish colour in them; the Coppertina Ninebark and the Quickfire Hydrangea. The problem is that I haven't found much practical assessment of these new plants & the fence is overhung by some towering evergreens, creating a fair bit of shade & acidic soil. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on the relative potential merits of using either the Coppertina or the Quickfire in this type of situation? thanks muchly
