Isn't it too early to plant daffodils? I don't know how your weather is but it's warm here in Sudbury. We haven't even had a mild frost. I don't plant them until the end of September, after a few light frosts

Not yet but soon, I have some double fringed tulips ordered Queensland (pink), Sensual Touch(apricot) and Barbados(red) not double like the previous two but looks to be very pretty. They haven't arrived yet but it's still too early to plant tulips here. I bought Queensland last year and was really impressed with it so thought I'd buy a few more of this beauty. Sensual Touch is new this year, looks like it will be another winner.

It is time in Calgary tp plant bulbs which need to root before the ground freezes.

That is a neat exotic tulip.

The fancy ones do not always do well here.

Daffodils and most of the small bulbs can be planted now, even in southern Ontario. Tulips should not be planted until the ground cools off, late September or even into early November here. Daffodil bulbs planted too late will freeze and turn to mush.
