i've actually never seen native pawpaw fruit before - i'm really curious to see! how long are these usually available?

Here in the North part of Chatham-Kent , my two 30 year old trees usually produce a fair amount of fruit but I only utilize the seeds . The fruit keeps poorly (somewhat like buying bananas ) but it is definitely rich tasting ; people either love the taste or find it overwhelming . I also have a 7 year old asimina that seems to be fruiting heavily for a young tree . What is the going price for fresh pawpaw fruit ??
