A week ago when I went to Canadian Tire (Warden & Eglinton) in TO I noticed Myke for bulbs. I need some this fall, so I approached the display, picked up the container and checked expiration date. It had expired Sept. 2005. There was a large number of containers on the shelves. After that I went to Rona, (Warden, south of Eglinton), looked for Myke there and found same thing. How good is this stuff if it has expired a year ago. I know it has a shelf life, but how long?

Does anyone know! I have also come across information which suggests if you are out of Myke for specific plants one can use Myke intended for something else. If that is right, perhaps I can use whatever Myke I have on hand? I would really appreciate learning more about this.
