| I am new to gardening and was wondering if anyone knows what type of carnations are perennials in zone 3?? My sister has some in her garden but we don't know what type they are since they were already there when she moved in?? thanks |

| You could try Desmond carnations (Dianthus 'Desmond') they are rated to zone 3. Visit your garden center. They will carry the types of dianthus that will survive in your zone. Ian |
