One thing you could do is go thru catalogues. Most of them are on line. I use both Veseys and Dams and they have quite a few listed. You can find them at Veseys.com and damseeds.com. Hope this helps. Marg

Yes-- as marric says look at the seed catalogues on line. Look for the Kobocha types.

Stokes seeds has one called Grey Ghost. According to their blurb on it it is supposed to have excellent flavor.

Thanks all. I went to St. Jacobs' this Saturday and bought more of the same squash and this time I asked. It is a Japanese variety. Don't know the name.

That is what I said--kobocha is a Japanese squash variety. It is sometimes called Japanese pumpkin and I'd bet my bottom dollar it is grey ghost
