Spanish Bayonet in the rain

Yucca aloifolia in the rain. This yucca grows tall and can handle lots of neglect and water restictions. It flowers white similar to Y. recurvifolia. This specimen has a pup and is expected to form a clump over the years.

Vancouver Island is home to new yuccas because of growing interest to save water in dry summers from Victoria to Nanaimo.
