Source for Xanthorrhoea australis ?

Hard to do better than the subject posting...I am looking for Xanthorrhoea australis as a house plant, but it is quite rare around here and I am wondering if anyone knows of a source in or around Toronto.

I quite agree, it's a very rare type of plant. Possibly the only way to find it is through mail order catalogs or botanical gardens with a gift shop.

I'm not sure how well it will do indoors in our zone. It's got all the traits of a full sun plant. Have you tried it before?

Not familiar with this species, but the same place from which I ordered a bunch of seeds last winter (mostly Calothamnus), has it:

"XANTHORRHOEA australis....................................."Grass Tree" $19.50 per 25g"
