| A group of native arbutus trees are another element of denial that it is December on the coast. Well, the rains let us know that winter is upon us. The winds are from the continent blowing out and that means "major" frosts but a strong potential for sunny afternoons. It was stormy in Calgary and even snowing in southern Texas when I took this image. So this is a winter denial image. It's a favorite feature of the west coast. I can often enjoy denial of winter but today I could feel that cool crisp air. |
