Anyone familiar with this variety? I'm considering ordering it for this year. Any comments? Thanks.

Hi Debbie,

I have grown this canna. Its not very tall ~ 3' The foliage is a slight bronzy colour while the flower is a light peachy colour with pale pink splotches.

Nice in contrast to other foliage types.
I'm trying to find a couple pics of it. As soon as I do, I'll post them for you to see.

Managed to find 2 pictures of my Angel Martin.

The spot these were growing in was a rather shady one. It was on the north side of our house within the reach of a rather large japanese maple and beside a cutleaf elder.

The foliage looks different in the sun, Here it shows a more greenish hue.

Angel Martin is just to the left of the centre of the picture. The cannas in the center are a different variety.

Thanks so much for posting pics! I've ordered a few new dwarfs to try this year, tangelo and happiness (rose-pink with bronze floliage) and I think I will add angel martin to my list. Best regards, Debbie.
