What to do with sprouting tubers?

This is my first year growing cannas. After the first frost and when the leaves started to turn black I moved the entire container(s) to my unheated garage (I'm in zone 5). I went to down today thinking the tubers were goners since we've had some really cold nights. To my surprise new sprouts were coming up. I assume they are new sprouts. I dug up the tubers and rinsed them off. What should I do - should I let them dry out, store them and then plant in the spring? Or should I pot them up now and grow them in the house and bring them out when it's warm enough? I have one more container with sprouting tubers - should I just leave it in the garage?

Thanks!
