| Getting geared up for spring fertilizing. Our canna (tropicanna) are planted in with a bunch of other plants along our back block wall. Will it be alright to use regular fertilizer on the canna or do I need something specific like I do for my palms?

| I try to stay as organic as I can. I use composted manures, and when needed ammonium sulfate. Canna will feed on any fertilizer you choose. I've even read studies where canna were used to purify municipal waste water. |
