I was lucky enough to get some yellow canna rhizomes and they took off almost overnight! They've probably been in the ground for a week or two and are at least 6-8 inches tall! Then I got some red canna seeds and soaked them until they sprouted and viola...overnight had an above ground sprout! How have I been missing out on these wonders all this time?

That is wonderful. Could you tell me the process for soaking until sprouting. I collected a bunch of seeds from the one plant I bought.
