boca_joe 'Stuttgart' question

boca_joe , I was looking in your albums and came across 'Stuttgart'. It was so pretty. My white seems to die out right away. I have it in the shade, and I keep it moist. I do live in Florida but it hasn't been that hot lately so I think it should be doing better for me. What is your secret? By the way, there wasn't a plant I didn't like. You sure work hard!

I treat my Stuttgardt like all the other cannas, full sun and LOTS of water. I really believe that the "burning" of the white portion of the leaves is due to lack of chlorophyll NOT how much sun it gets.

I never seem to have a problem with mine, the more sun the better- just lots of water and fert

I had leaf burn in partial sun in southeast Texas. Has anyone in the deep South grown this canna successfully in full sun without at least some foliar damage?
