I saw in the FAQ not to store below 45 degrees. I bought a rhizome, couldn't resist, even tho I have a canna which I hope will come up again.

I don't have a basement or garage, so have been keeping it in the car trunk, which now I'm going to put a thermometer in to see if it goes down below 45.

It is still in the plastic.

Should I remove from plastic? Someone told me to put in a box and cover with mulch.

Any other idea beside the car trunk?

ps as far as which canna it is, I bought it at Lowes, so a very common one, altho I don't remember the name.
