Does anyone grow Canna Stuggart as far south as Georgia? I had this once, and it didn't do well. No matter where I put it the white on the foliage would turn brown. I'd like to grow it. Is anyone successful growing it this far south?

Well, I live in Maryland. It likes the shade. The sun will make the white part get brown. So, grow this guy in an area where it does not get too much sunlight.

Have no clue on your weather, but here in southern CA I keep some in the shade and it does wonderfully. There was a post before where some put their's in a water garden and reported no browning.

Won't grow here. Doesn't like heat or humidity. I'm only a couple of blocks from the beach so it may not like salt either. Don't know anyone on the immediate mainland that grows it either. Tried several times, poor thing suffered a miserable death. Wouldn't grow in shade, the pond, part-shade, moved it several times, tried in a pot, everything. Tally HO!
