 o
when do the rhizomes form?

I know rhizomes are just modified stems, yep, but when does a "root" become a "rhizome" on a canna grown from seed? That is, how large does a new canna need to be before it's considered to have a rhizome that's large enough to be transplanted as a rhizome, not a baby plant? Hope that makes sense!

I'd probably wait until there are roots growing from the rhizome or rhizomous area.
