Our local Calloway's nursery is selling a canna called Pink President. I know the red President is a reliable bloomer but does anybody have any experience with the pink?
The PICTURE they show is a true pink like the one at the top of this forum--but pictures lie. Anyone know anything about this variety?

| According to a book I have on cannas, "Pink President" is the same vaiety as "Miss Oklahoma", or "Los Angeles", although I purchased "Los Angeles" years ago from a local store and it does not look like "Miss Oklahoma". I would think "Miss Oklahoma" is the one you are looking for. I have not grown it, but have seen it in mass plantings in a botanical garden in Dallas, and it was most impressive. |
