Looking for some cannas that have red leaves and large red blooms they grow fairly tall. I found some once at local Fleamarket but been unable to locate anymore lost out on my original stock due to a move, gave some to mother in law but they aren't enough to ask for a start back. Not sure of the variety. If anyone has extras or could spare a start I can pay postage or swap..... I have a green leaf variety that has small red blooms that reseed freely to spare they grow about 6 ft tall believe this to be an older kind or species....

Jim - could it be C. 'Australia? The leaves are a deep burgandy with green under tones and a red flower. IF this is the canna you are asking about there is someone in the trade section that has this available. I am providing a link that has some canna types divided in to foliage types.

Here is a link that might be useful: cannas by foliage
