I just traded for these. Some sites say I am in 6 others say 6b. I know my weather is usually not as bad as my father 25 min east of me.In my area there are several plain green common canna with the red flowers that have grown around here for yrs untouched.Coming back every yr.If these survive around here ok, will these 2 cannas that I am expecting?or are they a more tropical variety, so I would have to dig and store?

Tammy,
I am not sure if they will come back, but I would think that with protection and without an overly harsh/wet winter, you may have success. I don't know of any notable differences between those cannas and just the regular old ones. I suspect it may be negligible. I figure you could always dig a few "just in case" tubers.
Good luck.
