| This is my first time growing canna. The weather is still a little chilly here. My question is can I start them inside and put them near a window that gets some daytime light? Also is it ok to start them in Miracle-Gro potting soil and some bulb food I bought at Home Depot. Thanks for your help. |

| Yes, you can start you canna insode in a window with lots of light. The MG potting soil is fine. If you are starting from seed you should sand (nail file, sand paper, ect) the seed until you see white, soak for 24 hrs in luke warm water then plant. If you are starting rhyzomes you are good to go! |
