Not only were they a nice size (got 6 Maudie Malcolms and
2 Pretoria and 2 Tropical Sunrise), but they threw a few
extra smaller ones into each bag!!
I don't know HOW they can keep their prices so low when
everyone else charges an armandaleg for these guys!
(Yes, Yes, I know they don't carry the Zodiac Series, but
not many nurseries with cannas do!)
Run, don't walk to your nearest post office and put in
your order! |

| I ordered from them and just got my order today. Will have to go back and look for little freebies in the bags. Quick shipping and they look to be in excellent condition. I was so pleased with them, give them a try if you haven't yet. |

| I was also very pleased with my order from Horns Canna. They arrived on Friday and I got them planted Saturday. I also found some extra little guys tucked in here and there. I bought ten different varieties and planted them en masse. Can't wait to see how they progress. deb |

| Mind if I ask what you get for their prices? Is it one plant or a large rhizomes with several eyes.......??? |

They send clean rhizomes--depending on the variety-some
5 inches long x 1-2 inches wide, some 3-4 inches long. |

| I've seen people on GW saying they got 50 plants for $30.00 but I didn't see that anywhere on their site. Do you know how to find out how to get those for that price? Thanks, Nancy |

| Nancy, I paid $1.00 to $1.50 each for mine. However, their website indicates that they are sold out for the spring season. |

| Nancy, I know it is on the order form when you print it out, it is for their standard choices only. I believe you can get 50 for $30, or 100 for $50, a good deal if you are looking for a lot. There may be other requirements, I don't remember exactly. |

| Thanks ya'll. I was sad to see right after I posted this that Horn's was out for this season. I have a friend who is going to send me some for postage so maybe next year I can look into Horn's again. I just can't believe they can sell theirs for $1 to $1.50 when every other place wants so much more and all I've ever heard about them is good. I guess I've learned about putting things off til later. ;-) Nancy |
