Hey, guys

I want to expand my canna collection and ran into this site. I saw a couple of VERY interesting canna I haven't seen anywhere else.

Before ordering, I just wanted to know if anyone had experience with this site. Here's the link:

And check out the Canna 'Phaison'... ooooffff!!!

Or any recommendations on a source for Phaison and other exotic canna will do too.

Thanks!

I have ordered cannas and other plants from them. I have no complaints.

I live about a mile from this nursery. Needless to say, I visit and buy plants every year. Their plants are healthy and strong when I buy them. I have bought canna as well as other perennials. I haven't had them shipped, so I can't speak to that, but I CAN rave about the plant quality.

nice plants but BIG BUCKS! $$$$$$$$

I would not order cannas from them for this reason. I have seen TRopicana (Phaison) at Lowe's and Home Depot as well.

Karchesky Cannas is much cheaper and great quality and people to deal with!

good luck

I know that it won't matter much to most people, but the name is 'Phasion', not 'Phaison' (also known as 'Durban' or 'Tropicanna'). I can't help it - I'm instantly put off buying from companies that can't be bothered to get the names right of the plants they sell. (Also 'Musafolia' should be 'Musifolia' - the foliage is banana-like, it isn't a actually a banana!)

More importantly, considering Cannas grow extremely fast, those prices do seem a bit hefty.
