Canna's outside

Wish me luck---checked my canna's yesterday, well, most of them have decided it was time to go out in the garden---I've always stored them in totes--well, they had grown to the point of forcing the lid of the totes, so, they had to go out. Keeping fingers crossed that we don't get a nasty cold spell. This has never happened to me b4 and stored them this way for the past 8 years.

Can you explain this to me more, by totes do you mean things like a rubber maid container(plastic storage bins)

yep----------the ones with the vents in the handles---think I just didn't let them dry enough last fall------most of them are doing ok so far--see what happens tonight-it's supposed to snow here, again.

I buy cannas every year from my local plant stores but last year I dug them up and stored them in my basement.
I stored them in boxes.
Do you think they will grow when I replant them?
