Hello,

I have looked for a source for 20 or so "Robert Kemp" cannas for my hummer garden, and can't find good ones for a reasonable price. Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,

Tucker

Hey there,

I plan on establishing several clumps of this canna, and a couple of large tubs of it also in different parts of the garden. I know I could probably plant just a couple and have enough next year, but I am impatient! What kind of stuff would you be interested in trading?

Robert Kempt grows easily from seed and produces tons of it. If you want a lot of plants that may be an easier route to go. Here up north, you can start canna seeds about mid-March and still have a good 48" plant with flowers before fall frost. The following year the cannas get to be their full size as you're planting rhizomes instead of seeds ... course in your zone I'm thinking you don't have to lift your cannas in the fall so probably would have even better results.
