I have several types of canna that I plan to put in pots on my deck this year. I don't think that they bloom before mid to late July in my area (not sure about that this is my first year with cannas). I also winter sowed some Monkey Flowers (mimulus). These are also annuals in my area and according to the package require wet or bog conditions. Can I plant these in the same pot so that I have some color until the canna bloom? I'm assuming that since they are annuals they have shallow roots. Thanks once again for any help!
