I bought a dozen cannas and ginger potted plants from nursery going out of business 10 months ago. I am ready to plant them, but since winter has come and there is new growth (old leaves died off), I don't know which is which. I think the gingers have narrower stalks and pointed leaves. Can anyone help me figure out how to identify them? It's important because gingers won't survive the sunny area I have for the cannas. Thanks!
