My cannas aren't coming up. I planted the tubers a
month ago. I dug two up and noticed a caramel colored, segmented
worm in them. What was it and how do I get rid of it?

| Cannas like warm weather and it has only gotten significantly warmer recently. Many of us get them started in a pot indoors before planting out once the ground has warmed up. You may have to give them some time and hope they were planted with good drainage so they don't rot. I would hand-remove any worms, etc., out of them. However without a picture, it would be difficult to know what the critter is in any case. |
