New flower stock growth. What do I do?

Hello! I have been a member of this form for a month, but this would be my first time posting. Normally I would be able to find my answers browsing through others' post but I haven't been able to find the answer to my question.

My question may sound kinda stupid but...

I bought my Futurity Yellow Canna from Home Depot about 3 weeks ago. I noticed that there is a new seperate stalk coming up from the soil about a week ago. Today I noticed a third one coming up from the soil as well. My Canna is potted in a 3qt plastic pot in front of a sunny window at my office where it gives at least 6 hours of sunlight. I do know I need to repot it in a bigger pot and plan to this weekend. But for the new growth should I seperate them? Or is it ok to leave it as it is? If I need to seperate them how do I do this? Any good websites that you can sugguest? Lots of pics and written instructions of how to do this would be very helpful to me :)

Thanks for your help!

Moon Glow
Canna rapidly make new growth through rhizomes. You can seperate them if you want to, but it will keep doing this. I would let them be and just repot them. The canna looks very attractive in clusters inside a container.

Thanks Joe! I will leave it as it is and just repot it to a bigger pot.
