Ok, so here I go again freaking out. My wish was to have a great beautiful splash of colour in the middle of my front lawn. So, I dug up the grass (as mentioned in a previous post) and planted 7 bulbs of Cannas. Now my fear is that it will be too much....I didn't realize that they were going to grow so tall. Obviously, they have yet to grow as I have just planted them, but am I in for trouble ? I now see that I should have done my homework a little more diligently. I am scared to death now about leaf rollers...but am optimistic because I live in Quebec and have heard that they apparently don't show up in places that have harsh winters...is this true ?
