Do cannas exudate water from their leafy margins without any visible signs of disease?

If you are refering to liquid inside the "cone" of the leaf base where it leaves the stalk, that is water which has collected from rain or watering and is normal.

It happens to many plants - google "guttation". I don't think it's a sign of virus. Are they getting a lot of water?
