| I won an auction for 20 different varieties ,got them in the mail early in the week ,so now should I plant them in pots to do a little growing before the end of the season or go ahead and plant in the ground until first frost.thanks for info,Sharyl |

| Either way, Sharyl, will work. I'm presuming that you will have to dig and store your cannas come this Fall. So why not pot them up this year so that you can overwinter them easily. Then plant them out next Spring. I would make sure that you put them in good size pots so that they will continue grow and expand their rhizones. Jenna |
