Hi,

I bought a Canna Cleopatra last year and overwintered it in my cellar. I divided the original tuber into 5 separate ones.

A few of the new stalks this spring have an internal problem with rot.

The stalks look normal except for some dark brown discoloration.

Can anyone tell me what is happening? If the plant will do this again next year I would rather get rid of it now so I don't infect my other cannas.
