| I just got some Tropicana from a swap today, should I plant them or keep til next spring?????

| plant them. The probably won't do much, but if you try to keep them the rhizomes will be too dried out by next spring. Let them grow, and then harvest normally at frost. I got some Pretoria last year in mid July that was left over from the city's plantings and that's what I did. This year that rhizome is producing an large healthy plant. Last year it only got about a foot tall before frost though. |
