When will they bloom?

| I got some unkonwn tubers from someone last winter and have this gorgeous dark burgundy foliage but no flowers yet. There is yet another leaf coming on each plant. I planted with 2 layers of Bulbtone, and just fertilized with Messenger and Mighty Plant this week for the first time. They are planted in about 20-25 gallon ceramic pots and look very healthy. How often should I fertilize going forward? |

| They sound like "Intrigue" - I water mine every day depending on moisture and heat - I fertilize once a week with a balanced 20-20-20 fert. 4-6 weeks until bloom. If they are "Intrigues" they are huge so your looking at 6 weeks which is possible considering only beginning of Aug. I think you might have over did it on the pot size though 5 - 10 gallon size would have been enough. cheers Jeff |
