| I had been reluctant to transplant my seed grown Canna because I had no idea how well the rhizome would have developed since just this Spring when I planted them. But one of them was already getting tall and I decided it had to be done.
To my amazement, the plant had a very well developed root ball that damn near covered the bottom of the soda bottle I had planted it in. The time I guess, was right.
So I planted all seven of the new plants.
Here are four, one being a little browned on the leaves from the harsh concrete deck, HOT patio environment it was being raised in.
That should fill in that blank space along this wall nicely in the year to come.
I should have taken a picture of the root ball on one of them, but didn't think to. It would have been an interesting photo for this forum.
