Planted a week ago, when will I see cannas?

I planted some cannas about eight days ago. Yeah, I know it's late in the season; they were on clearance. How long between planting and seeing results? I'm in Jacksonville, Florida, zone 9A where it is plenty hot. With the daily rains, they have been kept moist. When will I see shoots?

It*seems* like it was maybe around 3 weeks when I first saw green shoots on newly-planted cannas, & I'm in 8a in Texas.

The ones I planted were healthy, "fresh-dug", well-hydrated rhizomes.

I managed to let my spring delivered canna "bulbs" set around in their bags until about 2 or so weeks ago. The ones that were still good are up and thriving though I don't know if they will bloom this year. We do have a long growing season here so I am hopeful.
