| Up here, they like the species-type cannas best, with simple, tubular flowers, not huge petals. You probably don't have to dig them up in GA but some like Robert Kemp have huge storage tubers and some like India Prince are spindly and have to be potted and coddled. Go to Karchesky Canna's website for an idea of what's out there and recommended for hummers, though the prices can be steep. |
