Trade for Wanted: Richard Wallace bulbs also info needed

I'd love to have any different color then red,if you have any to share. I'd be happy to pay postage in USA!!

I don't know what variety I have but the leaf is not just green and it does have red flower...maybe burgundy/green?
I could share some of those, if someone wanted to trade with me. Ayone know the name of it?
There are pods on top, if I plant the seed will it grow to a rhizome? I don't usually have luck with planting seeds in pots, I forget to water...or over water and they die!!

I've had mine for two seasons now and I think they are the easiest flower to grow!!

But I'm never sure when to dig it up or when it's safe to plant....can anyone help with that?

Thanks and have a great day!!
Alanis

When the stalks die out you trim them back to the ground and dig them up, usually around November for me probuably earlier for you. It is safe to replant them when the ground is above freezing to be safe you should wait til all danger of that is past May for me, maybe June for you? someone who lives in your zone might have a better timeline for you. If you have seeds to plant you have to nick them before planting them so they will germinate (think its called strafing?)
