I purchased some tropicana cannas at a end of the year sale.
The are cramed into the 2 gallon pots.
Should I re pot them or plnt them in the ground now?
We still have about 1 and a half mounths left of good weather here in wisconsin z5
Any thoughts.

| Cannas hardly grow in cool weather. I would just keep them outside in the current containers until just before the first frost. Then cut off all the stems, put the pot in a sealed plastic bag and store in a cool part of the basement. Next spring, you can divide the rhizomes and either start in new pots or in the ground. |

| If wet let the soil dry out some before you put them in plastic bags. If not they will rot. |
