I purchased some tropicana cannas at a end of the year sale.
The are cramed into the 2 gallon pots.
Should I re pot them or plnt them in the ground now?
We still have about 1 and a half mounths left of good weather here in wisconsin z5

Any thoughts.

Cannas hardly grow in cool weather. I would just keep them outside in the current containers until just before the first frost. Then cut off all the stems, put the pot in a sealed plastic bag and store in a cool part of the basement. Next spring, you can divide the rhizomes and either start in new pots or in the ground.

If wet let the soil dry out some before you put them in plastic bags. If not they will rot.
