does anyone divide c. musifolia?

| planted a dormant musifolia bulb very late inthe season(august). I dug it up to store today and the rhizome is about 18" wide and 10" deep. I have divided my other cannas before, but this is a bohemoth! Should I wait 'till spring? It had 6 shoots that were 4 feet high in that short a time. love it, though. |

| You can either do it now or in the spring. Just depends on whether you want to deal with it now or later. :)) Jenna |
