I've rescued (2) Pothos from a deep dark nasty doom and a Desert Rose from becoming trash.

This is my third rescued orphan ...

Orphaned Canna in a Paint Bucket

I don't know what variety it is. Flower was Yellow or Yellow-Orange and it is tall.

Free Plants are the Best!

Sounds good

I find that I do the same with plants

Always on the look out for some abandoned plant thrown out to the curb for garbage pick up Have over the years found some very nice stuff

In California it should sure grow well for you

RE: Orphan Canna in a Paint Bucket

My latest orphan wasn't worth keeping. I call them "Garbage Daisies" ( Gerber Daisies ).

I tossed out the "Garbage Daisies" and kept the wonderful 5 gallon pot I found them in. So, I suppose I can be ruthless to some orphans. In this case, "Garbage Daisies" is an appropriate term.
