| Love the pink one...that is the one color I do not have :( My Lucifer is darker red and blooms are different shape...how tall is your plant? Lovely cannas...good luck with your gardening!

I was expecting my Lucifer to be a darker red also..like it should be, but so far every Lucifer I have is just like the pix here. I am disappointed, I really was looking forward to the dak red. Don't get me wrong, I still love it and think it's pretty, I love all my flowers..anyway, THey are in full sun, so I know they aren't lacking color because of shade. They are about 5 ft tall, but according to the pkg the bulbs came in they should only be 16". Dif shape blooms? Really? Can you post pix of yours? I'd love to see! Thank you :) I love the pink ones too, so pretty. My mother-in-law bought that one for me from Lowe's and of course it didn't have a name. All I can say about that one is that it's only about 18" tall. I am hoping that maybe it'll get bigger next year when planted in the garden. I kept it in the pot it was bought in, and it's getting mighty crowded, but I'm not bothering with it till frost.

| Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing. I have been a canna grower for many years, enjoy these plants very much and have about 50 varieties. Not sure if I have a favorite except when they are blooming, always a favorite. Skylark936@yahoo.com |
