One Variety Never Bloomed

| Does anyone have ideas why one of my canna varieties did not bloom again this year? I have a circular driveway and about 8 different cannas around it. They all bloomed but Chocolate Cherry. I have about 12 other varieties all around my yard that all bloomed. This is the second year that it did not bloom. I got a piece the first year and it bloomed and then nothing after that. It has really spread and the foliage looks healthy. I can't figure it out. Beautiful canna flowers all over my yard but this one. They all get treated the same. I'm puzzled. Any ideas. Thanks. |

| I would suggest giving your canna a good feed of a fertilizer specialized to encourage blooming. I would also suggest amending the soil with generous amounts of compost. A great deal of direct sunlight, lots, and lots of water, (equivilent to 2 or so inches of rain per week) and good soil should do the trick. |
