| I live in zone 7. We just bought a new home and my husband hated the cannas in the front flower bed. I hated to do it but I pulled them out. Now I want to give them to a friend. Can they be replanted in zone 7 right now or would it be better to winter the bulbs and wait for spring?
I loved the cannas and thought they were great and perfect for the spot they were in. :( |

| In your zone, it may be better to store the rhizomes for winter. Cool damp soil would promote rotting. |
