| My firend gave us some canna roots last spring. We didn't know what to do with them so they stayed in the basement. Around July I noticed them sprouting and realized I better get them in the ground! So I planted them in pot, and they have grown and even started to multiply a bit.
Lately we have been bringing them in the garage at night, but it keeps getting colder. My intentions were just to let them die off one it got cold and dig them up, but now a couple have their flower buds up.
So...can I just bring them inside for a couple of weeks to see their flowers bloom, then stick them back outside to die off when I'm done with them (I don't have a window in the hosue sunny enough to keep them going through the winter). Or would it just be better to let them die off now and enjoy them next summer.
