Canadian Winter Sowing

starting my wsing ,40 so far ,many more to go

well,

finally started my wsing, after finding this site and all the great advice and wisdom.Have only started with yarrow,poppies,coneflowers and daisies so far . Would like to start more but need to scare up more containers presently. Do we have many wsowers from Manitoba out there?And what do you like to ws and what's your most successful?

Hi Trac, do you have Freecycle or equivalent in your area. You can put a request for containers on it and you'll be amazed at what you can get. I am also using margarine tubs for annuals (not much head room) and ice-cream cartons work well, yogurt tubs - just make sure they're deep enough. Keep going!!
