I'll be starting mine soon! Looks like a great garden coming up.

May I ask where you got the seeds for the Green Echinacea and the Razmatazz? I winter sowed the Double Decker Echinacea a couple of years ago and the little decks showed-up last summer. Some look like funny hairdos on the echinacea. Too cute!

WMC - have you winter sown Simply Love before? I was afraid it was too delicate. I think I will try. Love this thread so then I get a feel for what's "safe".

Tiffy - you mentioned that you had wintersown the Double Decker Echinacea - did it bloom the first year? I've been wanting to try it but haven't found seed yet although I think I saw it in one of the seed catalogues. I'll have to check again. Just wondering how long it takes to bloom.

Well, I started some in mid-February with:

    1 flat of Rudbeckia Goldsturm
1 flat of some light blue delphs and lemon catmint
(Has anyone grown Lemon Catmint before? I'm wondering if it is has the same growth habits as the other Nepetas.)

Yesterday I sowed a lettuce container each of:

    Shasta Daisy's 'Alaska'
    Unknown Trollius

This week looks like a good week to do some more WSing, as its supposed to stay mild for awhile.

I have been sowing but not counting and I just realized that I've planted 37 containers of perennials. I plan to saw a few more (2nd year blooming ones) and then start my annnuals. Does anyone want some Echinacea "White Swan"? I have some left which I saved from a neighbour's garden, and a few Canna - Yellow Dwarf - which I picked up in China when were there in Jan. Just send me an e-mail.

Northerner, I'd love some of your Yellow Dwarf Canna. Can these be wintersown or is springsown better? Please see my tade list... or I can send a SASE.
